On November 6, 2019, the 2020 Charter Review Commission (CRC) approved the request to establish Split Oak as a committee for the 2020 CRC.
After careful consideration of the information presented, the committee voted to recommend a change to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to protecting Split Oak Forest by restricting Board of County Commissioners’ amendment of restrictions and covenants.
The committee will present a first reading of its recommendation and final report to the CRC on Monday, April 20, 2020. The meeting will be held via WebEx beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to attend this virtual meeting and/or address the CRC, please contact CRC staff at Katie.Smith@occompt.com.
