The Payroll Systems Coordinator is responsible for researching, testing, and implementing all additions and changes to the payroll system. A Payroll Systems Coordinator operates with considerable independence. Researches, tests and implements additions and changes to the payroll system. Acts as liaison between multiple departments, agencies, and vendors as a representative of the Comptroller’s Office. Provides assistance to Payroll Department personnel in the operation of personal computers. General direction is received from the Payroll Manager. Position is open until filled. Salary Range: $52,000- $86,195
The Property Control Specialist Position prepares input forms using Excel, Word, and Adobe for acquisition and disposition of County owned tangible equipment with a high-degree of accuracy. The Property Control Specialist must be able to perform administrative duties including bookkeeping. The Property Control Specialist must be able to compile data and reconcile reports or correct discrepancies.
The Property Control Specialist is responsible for assisting with the accounting for and control of County property. A substantial amount of fieldwork is required. The position performs inventory of County owned property and is responsible for updating asset records with a high degree of accuracy. Position closes Saturday, December 15, 2018. Starting Salary: $15.19 per hour.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the pre-audit of invoices for payment to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, entering data into the financial system to generate checks and preparation and filing of check documentation packages and problem research and correspondence with vendors as necessary.
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible accounts payable or similar account keeping experience. Must have considerable knowledge of: Accounts payable principles and practices, including Form 1099 requirements; standard office practices, methods and procedures. Must have the ability to: Properly apply bookkeeping and accounting principles both in actual work and in review of same, and to operate standard office machines; communicate with County vendors and departments in a friendly, courteous manner and have good telephone etiquette. An Auditor is a responsible professional position performing audit work within County agencies and departments, as well as other organizations. The work involves financial, compliance and operational audits of agencies, departments, programs, and activities. Work is performed under the direct supervision of an Audit Supervisor and the general direction of the Director of County Audit. Starting salary range: $49,000-$71,000. Commensurate with experience.
